Does anybody care why I haven't been here in...like...a DECADE?

Monday, September 27, 2004: sometime around 3:45 pm. Of course, school let out, and I went along with my friends and boyfriend to the Rec. center. While playing football in the Hockey rink, I was chasing one of the fastest runners of our age, and had just touched him with both hands, when I lurched forward, my body went diagonal, and my wrist hit the ground before the rest of my body could even react. It felt like one of those "Split Second Hours", where I felt my wrist hit, felt the crack of bones, pain, and then I realized I was already on my feet, cradeling my hand to my chest, feeling as if regurgitation was the only way o deal with it. But me, being the tomboy that I am, refused to cry, or show any sign of weakness.

I would've done another play, but I couldn't handle it, so I went to my stop, waited ten minutes for a bus, rode for tn minutes, and walked a quarter mile/fifth kilometer to my house. When I got there, I told my mom what happened, got Ice, and went o the emergency room, DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200. For hours I waied, until I finally pleaded with my mother to make a plaster cast, but finally we were called, and away we went, into the X-ray room, and then I got the news. My doctor came out and said, "The bad news is that your wrist isn't broken. The even worse news is that you fractured a few of th bones, and if you continue to use that wrist, you'll have to have your hand amputated."

Ahh...that's exactly what happened after getting off punishment. Joy...of...joys.

Ouch, that sounds painful...but I'm kinda like you with the whole tomboy thing...I don't dress in guy's clothes or anything...but I was brought up not to let myself show that I'm injured...And I can't seem to cry...BU TI STILL FEL REALLY BAD!!! I hope that ya feel better...and you better. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR NOT CARING!!!!

I'm getting along, but it really sucks when you're going to the bathroom and your shoe comes untied...and espicially when only a guy is there to tie your laces...and you're wearing a skirt. I really detest this...thing on my arm. It makes me so tired lately. I try to like...complete my homework, and I'll fall unconscious afterward. It's really aggrivating. Anybody else been injured like this?

Yeah. (It's off now.) That happened to someone I knew. They were holding a fire cracker and it kinda...err...blew half of their arm off.

Owch... That sounds soo painfull. I would have done the same exact thing though! I'm, well, tombboyish, and I hate letting my emotions run wild out there, even If I was stabbed in the back, hit with a base ball bat in the groin, my leg was snapped in have.. I still would have tried my best to be like "OH I doesn't hurt! Trust me!"
